How to prevent knee-joint hyperosteogeny?

1.Avoid sleeping in the damp places,and don’t expose to wind when sweating.Don’t have cool bath or wash feet after sweating.This can prevent the invasion of wind,dampness and coldness,known as three evils.
2.The key treatment for earlier patients is to stablize the situation.Insist on doing the contraction isometric exercises of quadriceps femoris muscle.Use the sitting or lying posture,straighten the lower limbs,tighten the muscles of anterior thigh.Last this action for 10 to 20 seconds,relax for 5 to 10 seconds.Repeat this action 20 to 30 times,and 4 to 5 times every day.Keep on walking for 0.5 to 1 hour every day,and self-massage two legs.
3.Pay attention to having rest when knee-joints swell or pain.Avoid squating,burden,the activities of going upstairs or downstairs,etc.Meanwhile,we should ask doctors to give us physical therapy and medicine treatment.When the symptoms improve,we can stop using the medicine and mainly doing exercises.
4.Older people should nourish their bodies with food containing rich calcium or related closely with bone properly,and do some moderate physical exercises.This can help slow the process of senility and degeneration of bone tissues.
