How to predict stroke in advance?

    Could we predict stroke in advance? Prevention is more important than treatment.With the rapid development of science, lots of things can be predicted in advance. How about the cerebrovascular disease? This is the problem that worldwide scientists are working on, and the problem that all the cerebrovascular patients are desperate to be solved.
     As we all know, so far, cerebrovascular disease is still one of the three main reasons of human deaths.It directly threatens the health of middle and old aged people.In China, more than 1 million people or so died from stroke, and half of the surviving patients have different levels of sequela.They bring a lot of difficulties to our society and their families.
     Pathogenesis of cerebrovascular disease is very complex, and is not fully understood untill now.Therefore, the forcast of cerebrovascular disease becomes a difficult research. 2000 years ago, Huangdi’s Canon of Medicine in TCM proposed the thinking of preventing disease.They can make a prediction and diagnosis according to the surveys, which is done on people’s life habit, nature of work, family disease history, and some factors hindering the health. According to the pathogenesis of cerebrovascular diseases,it belongs to the prevention disease.To explore the pathogenesis of cerebrovascular disease using modern scientific medicine and theory of TCM, we can predict and prevent the cerebrovascular diseases.
    If we can grasp the etiology of various cerebrovascular diseases and know the various signs of cerevascular diseases, we are likely to predict the cerebrovascular diseases, making use of advanced medical equipment and testing measures.In this way, we can take some counter measures towards the people tested who have signs of stroke.Then, the development of the cerebrovascular diseases can be relieved and controled effectively.
   

   This prediction study is still under exploration stage.The athogenesis and etiology of cerebrovascular disease is very complex, it can be induced by varieties of internal and external factors. However, there is a process of the pathologic changes before the stroke attack.
